Meet the Team Behind Peak Justice Group
This is Audrey:
Audrey Bio
I was born and raised in Colorado. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2019 and a Juris Doctor from The University of Colorado Law School in 2024.
As the daughter of an immigrant, some of my earliest memories are of my mother telling me about her journey to becoming a U.S. citizen. Over the years I have seen and heard the stories of other family members, friends, and acquaintances who have navigated the U.S. immigration system. Learning about these experiences taught me the importance of having a trustworthy lawyer, and inspired me to become this person for others.
I speak conversational Mandarin and Spanish, and am a mother of three. I hope to use my background, training, and skills to connect with and advocate effectively for the community we serve. This is why it was so important for me to join a practice that cares about their clients as individuals. I am thrilled to have found that in Peak Justice Group.
This is Nadia:
Nadia Molinar Leon Bio
My name is Nadia Molinar Leon, I was born and raised in Westminster, Colorado. I am a first-generation Mexican American. My family’s background has deeply influenced my passion for immigration law. A variety of experiences inspired me to pursue a career where I could help others find clarity and hope through legal support.
I am currently a Legal Assistant at Peak Justice Group where I provide administrative and client support for our attorneys and ensure each case is handled with care and efficiency. I am currently attending Front Range Community College in pursuit of my Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice. At Peak Justice Group, I take pride in being part of a team that values integrity, professionalism, and genuine care for our clients. I strive to bring empathy, professionalism, and a strong work ethic to every case I work on.
Outside of work, I train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, spend time with family and friends, and enjoy exploring new places which helps me stay connected to the people and culture that continue to motivate my work.
This is Mayra:
Mayra Bio
Mayra – I was born and raised in Chihuahua, Mexico. At 16 years old I came to the United States looking for the American Dream, leaving a majority of my family and my friends behind to make a life for myself and help my family. When I arrived, I did not speak English, but I was certainly old enough to work, having experience on my grandparent’s farm when I was 8 years old. As an Immigrant, it was difficult to adjust to the English language and American culture. We moved to the Colorado mountains where my mother, sister and I worked cleaning vacation homes. I dreamed that one day, I could afford a house as nice as the ones I cleaned. I always enjoyed school and I wanted to continue my education.
This required me to learn a new language and be able to communicate with my high school classmates and my co-workers. I started school but was unable to finish due to the language barrier. I cleaned houses for a year and then my family moved to Denver. I worked in the restaurant industry and re-enrolled in high school. I became proficient in English within two years. I worked full time while attending high school and became pregnant with my daughter in my junior year. I graduated a week after she was born.
In the next few years, I worked in factories, call centers, and the fast-food industry while raising my daughter. I put myself through cosmetology school and my son was born in 2004. I became a Lawful Permanent Resident in 2005. It was in this year; I found my true passion. I started working as a receptionist in an immigration law firm. I had attended a few college classes but wanting more, I obtained a paralegal degree while working full time and raising my family. In 2009, I became a United States Citizen. Seventeen years after my first legal receptionist job and working as a senior paralegal in several immigration law firms throughout the city, I have helped thousands of clients from all over the world. I have prepared both affirmative and defensive immigration applications and truly love what I do. I experience great joy knowing that I can help immigrants like myself achieve legal status and success in the United States.
I believe that my career is not limited to immigration law and as such, I provide interpreter and notary services for clients who need assistance in their everyday lives. This may take the form of helping a married couple fill out a loan application in English or explaining to a teenager how to get a driver’s license or to translate for a grandmother at a doctor’s office. I believe we only achieve our dreams together and I am happy and fortunate to be in a position that strengthens the Latino community through my knowledge and experience.
